Photography, languages and travel are three of my greatest passions in life….
I’m from Minnesota originally, but graduated with a BA in French and Anthropology from the University of WI, Eau Claire. During my college years, I spent one year studying French and African dance/drumming in Senegal, West Africa and another year studying French in Toulon, France.
I’ve now been working for 5 years in the M&A business with French and Spanish speaking clients as a trilingual Project Manager. This position has allowed me so many travel opportunities, including trips to Montreal, Mexico and Brazil. It was during these trips that I really discovered my passion for capturing lines, colors and other cultures via my photos. Most recently, I took a 15 month leave from my job and went to Ecuador, South America to teach English. Not only did this trip enable me to gain a command of the Spanish language, it also provided me with a beautiful backdrop for my photos. I’m so happy to bring the various cultures and countries that I have visited to you via my photos. Happy travels!!
In addition to travel photography, I have done many photo shoots with families and children. I love capturing the spirit, personality and individuality of people in my photos.
